It's been 10 years and I have finally seen Inside Out. I immediately loved it. True to its two main characters, Joy and Sadness, it made me laugh heartily and filled my eyes with tears.
I soon watched the sequel and it was nearly great. Even though the first movie is better, the second hit closer to home for me because I was an unusually anxious teenager. I know exactly what those feelings of inadequacy are like and I still struggle with that today. I agree with just about everything you wrote in this review. If they can keep this up, I also hope that we will see more of Riley and her emotions. Considering how successful this film was, that will probably happen.
