A private space for us to converse and connect
Hey everyone! As Substack anticipates the eventual downfall of Twitter, they’ve activated something called Substack chats.
I’m going to be completely honest: I don’t quite understand how this works. But I like the idea of having a space where my readers can come together and chat a bit. It could be fun, and if it works, it helps to create a community here. A few times a week, I’ll post a few quick questions or thoughts. It might also be a good way for me to quickly share some of the reviews I’m writing for CinemaNerdz as well as podcast updates.
To join the chat, you’ll need to download the Substack app (messages are sent via the app, not email). Turn on push notifications so you don’t miss a chance to join conversation as it happens.
How to get started
Download the app by clicking this link or the button below. Chat is only on iOS for now, but chat is coming to the Android app soon.
Open the app and tap the Chat icon. It looks like two bubbles in the bottom bar, and you’ll see a row for my chat inside.
